Dipshikha METI School Received Aga Khan Award - 2007

An independent master jury is confronted with between 300 to 500 projects that taken together represent the current state of the built environment in Muslim societies. In this 10th award cycle, 27 projects were short listed for on site review out of a total nos. of 343 nominations. Finally, 9 projects were selected for the 2007 Aga Khan Award for Architecture from the West Africa to Southeast Asia. Dipshikha METI School in Rudrapur, Dinajpur, Bangladesh was one of them. The Award Presentation Ceremony took place in the presence of The Honourable Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia and His Highness the Aga Khan.
